Family Member/Dependents - Emergency Contact - Change Existing Record

Use this procedure to make a correction to or delimit an employee’s existing Family Member/Dependents (0021) infotype record.

  1. Step 1

    Enter transaction code PA30 in the command field and click the Enter button.

  2. Step 2

    Complete the following fields:

    • Personnel no.

    Personnel no. field selected.

  3. Step 3

    Click the Enter button to populate the employee information.

  4. Step 4

    Select the All radio button in the Period selection box.

  5. Step 5

    On the Addtl. Personal Data tab, select the Family Member/Dependents radio button.

  6. Step 6

    Click the Overview button.

  7. Step 7

    Select the record you wish to correct or delimit.

  8. Step 8

    Click the Change button.

    TIPS:
    • Using the Change button overwrites the existing record, and should only be used when making corrections or delimiting the record.

  9. Step 9

    Complete necessary changes to the infotype record.

    TIPS:
    • If this emergency contact record is no longer needed, delimit the record by changing the To date to the last day the record should be active.

  10. Step 10

    Click the Enter button to validate the information.

  11. Step 11

    Click the Save button.
