HRMS & MyPortal Passwords

Email heretohelp@ofm.wa.gov for a password reset, support or troubleshooting and provide the following information:

  • Personnel number
  • Contact information
  • The system you are experiencing an issue with (HRMS or MyPortal)
  • What you were doing or trying to access when the issue occurred
  • A screenshot of the error message

HRMS Password Requirements

  • Password must have a minimum of eight (8) characters. It is case sensitive and must contain at least one (1) alphabet letter, one (1) number [0-9] and one (1) special character (@#$%&*).
  • Password will expire every 90 days and you will be required to change it at next logon.
  • Password may be changed by the user only once per day.
  • HRMS remembers a user's previous five (5) passwords and prevents them from being reused by the user.
  • After five (5) failed login attempts the User ID will be locked.
  • Logons will automatically timeout if left idle for more than 30 minutes.

MyPortal Password Requirements

  • Password must be a minimum of ten (10) and no more than twenty (20) characters. It is case sensitive and must include at least one (1) letter, one (1) number [0-9], and one (1) special character (@#$%&*).
  • Password will expire every 90 days and the user will be required to change it at next logon.
  • My Portal remembers a user's previous five (5) passwords and prevents them from being reused by the user.
  • After five (5) failed login attempts the Logon ID will be locked.  The Logon ID will be unlocked automatically at midnight or after a password reset.
  • Logons will automatically timeout if left idle for more than 14 minutes.
