OFM Service Alert - Erroneous HRMS Files Sent to DRS ERA

What is impacted?

Transmittal edit messages were sent in error from a HRMS test environment to the DRS Employer Reporting Application (ERA). This caused the ERA account for each Report Group number to receive files with the following error: An error in the record caused the report not to process. Correct the error and resubmit the entire report.

This error will be found in multiple report group numbers for both Retirement and Deferred Compensation (DCP).

Who is impacted?

Any agency that received errors in ERA with a submit date and time of 10/23/2025 at 6:43 PM for Report Period 09/2025.

How does this impact customers?

  • No action is needed from agencies.
  • OFM contacted DRS to ensure we have taken all necessary steps to correct this issue.
  • DRS was able to confirm that agency benefits processors should ignore the rejected files dated 10/23/2025 for Report Period 09/2025 within ERA.
