Based on usage statistics we have had over 7200 logins since MyPortal went live on Saturday, May 16.
Thank you for your help in this smooth transition!
In reviewing some of the tickets that are being logged with the OFM Help Desk, we would like to remind some agencies it is important the following information be communicated to all employees as soon as possible:
ESS is no longer available.
The correct URLs to access MyPortal are below. If you have not notified your employees of the URL to use and the credentials they will need to sign on if you are a Single Sign On (SSO) agency, please do so ASAP.
MyPortal.wa.gov is the new logon for agencies within the State Enterprise Active Directory (EAD) or Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS).
If an employee is logging on within the State Government Network (SGN), they will access MyPortal using Single Sign On (SSO).
If an employee is logging on outside the SGN, they must provide their agency’s logon credentials to EAD or ADFS.
Contact your agency IT support center if you are unsure when logon credentials to use.
Employees must provide their Personnel ID and generated password to access MyPortal. Single Sign On is not available.
Employees should select the Forgot Password link for first time logon to obtain a MyPortal password
Contact your agency IT support center if you are unsure which logon URL to use to access MyPortal.
All FAQs, user procedures and a video demonstration are available from the My Help tile in MyPortal which links to the new MyPortal Systems Page.
Again, thank you for your partnership in this major system upgrade of our employee self-service applications.
Note to agencies interested in implementing MyPortal leave:
Agencies who implemented leave in ESS were automatically updated to MyPortal leave. If your agency did not previously have leave and would like to add it in MyPortal, please see How Does an Agency Implement MyPortal Leave on the MyPortal – Overview page.
