HRMS Professional Access Emergency Request Process

This process is followed when the request is for immediate action by the HRMS Security team.

One of the following criteria must be met in order for the Emergency Request Process to be used:

  • User is locked out and it is Payroll Day 1, 2, or 3;
  • User is not able to complete an action due to a security issue on Payroll Day 1, 2, or 3.
  • There is an immediate need for professional access to HRMS or role addition for Payroll Day 1, 2, or 3 activities.
  • Access to HRMS needs to be removed prior to a separation action.

Email to OFM Help Desk

Send an email to the OFM Help Desk at HereToHelp@ofm.wa.gov with a copy to HRMS Security at ofmdlitshrmssecurity@ofm.wa.gov, with high importance including the following information:

  • Which criteria listed above qualifies this request as an emergency
  • For "Not able to complete action" please specify
    • What you were doing or trying to access when the issue occurred
    • A screenshot of the error message
  • The subject line in the email should read: HRMS Professional Emergency Request

Update HRMS Roles

The HRMS Role Request Form is required only when role(s) need to be added or removed on positions. This form must be submitted by an agency HRMS Security Requestor or Security Authorizer and sent to HereToHelp@ofm.wa.gov with a copy to HRMS Security at ofmdlitshrmssecurity@ofm.wa.gov with high importance including the following information:

  • Email subject line should read – Emergency HRMS Professional Security Request

The HRMS Security Team will assume the agency has followed their own approval process when submitting HRMS Role Request Form.

HRMS User Account Setup/Removal

If the request is for HRMS user account setup or removal, please send email to heretohelp@ofm.wa.gov with a copy to HRMS Security at ofmdlitshrmssecurity@ofm.wa.gov with high importance requesting the account be updated and provide the following information:

  • Employee name and 8-digit personnel number
  • HRMS 8-digit position number
  • Single sign-on (SSO) agencies provide the employee’s SNC (example: dshs\johnd) OR non-SSO agencies request a password (account setup only)
  • Email subject line should read – Emergency HRMS Professional Security Request
