The following COVID information has been removed from IRS Form 941:
Part 1:
5a (i) - Qualified sick leave wages and 5a (ii) - Qualified family leave wages have been removed.
Line 11 is now Qualified small business payroll tax credit for increasing research activities and lines 11b through 11g have been removed.
Line 13 is now Total deposits for this quarter, including overpayment applied from a prior quarter and overpayments applied from Form 941-X, 941-X (PR), or 944-X filed in the current quarter and lines 13b through 13i have been removed.
Part 3:
This section is now limited to 17 and 18, and lines 19 through 28 have been removed.
The PA40 Separation Action has been modified to automatically end an active WD Financials Phase 1a Conversion (WD1A) record. Automatically delimiting WD1A records upon separation will improve Workday Financials security administration processes.
The PA40 Appointment Change Action has been modified to add a pop-up message if the employee is changing positions and has an active WD Financials Phase 1a Conversion (WD1A) record.
Processors should review the employee’s need for security access to Workday Financials and delimit the WD1A record if it is no longer valid.
In addition to the personnel action changes, several user procedures have been updated to clarify when the WD Financials Phase 1a Conversion (WD1A) Communication (0105) infotype record should be maintained. Look for the following revised user procedures on the HRMS Support Hub:
