The Leave/MWE approval workflow is based on the supervisor and employee position relationships in HRMS such as “is line supervisor of” or “reports to” position. If a supervisor’s position is vacant, the Leave/MWE approval request will roll up the organizational hierarchy to the next filled supervisor’s position for the approval.
Wages Not Subject to OASI / Medicare Report
The Wages Not Subject to OASI/Medicare Report (ZHR_RPTPY632) has been enhanced to allow users to sort/order the list of employees and now has the ALV report option extending the functionality of the report by allowing end users to interact with data and to sort/filter according to their needs.
The Output Options section is new and there are four options to choose from:
Display ALV Layout: The report is displayed in an ALV grid allowing Excel based report formatting and functionality
Show in Excel: The report is displayed directly in Excel
Save to Excel: The report is saved to an excel spreadsheet - file_name.xlsx
Payroll Posting Report
The Payroll Posting Report (ZHR_RPTPY126) has been enhanced to improve run-time performance by adding a new mandatory option on the selection screen called "Limit: Do Not Exceed (Records)" with the default of 3 million records.
This option will allow professional users to filter data using selection screen options based on their specific needs and will also allow the report to safely quit the program if the report execution retrieves more than 3 million records.
There have been three new options added to the ALV Variant section of the report:
Limit: Do Not Exceed (Records): A modifiable field limiting the number of records that can be retrieved to 3,000,000,000 records. Exceeding this number of records will cause the program to eventually run out of memory or timeout in the foreground.
Apply Filter From ALV Variant: A modifiable checkbox allowing the user to pull only the desired data by setting a filter to limit the amount of data retrieved.
Support Hub Button: Will take professional users directly to the Payroll Posting report procedure to view Tips for faster run times.
HRMS Release Information
This was a planned release of changes and improvements to HRMS based off the HRMS Release Management process and schedule. As we are continuously working on improvements to better assist and support our professional users, HRMS releases take place two times a month.
