OFM identified that the HRMS third-party payment file did not initially process after the payroll cutoff, resulting in a possible processing delay. The third-party payments file (GAP 40) does not include payroll, State of Oregon, or federal tax payments; it covers electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments to other third-party vendors such as banks and credit unions for deductions, garnishments, child support, and similar items.
The file is scheduled to process through AFRS tonight. As a result, some third-party vendors may experience a one-day delay in posting these payments. If employees contact HR or Payroll, please advise them that there was a one-day delay in processing third-party payments.
Additional information:
Warrant payments for 3rd party vendors are not impacted by this.
OFM completed an investigation and has implemented corrections to prevent this issue from recurring.
