OFM has completed the restoration of gender data in HRMS and MyPortal. The impacted field was Gender Designation for Health Insurance which can now be modified in HRMS and MyPortal. We have completed a data restore to mirror Gender Designation for Health Insurance prior to January 9, 2025 when this issue began.
Though this issue is resolved, agency action may be necessary. This could be for one of two reasons taking place from Thursday, January 9, 2025 through the data restoration period:
Personal Data (0002) infotype was created or updated.
A New Hire or Rehire was entered.
We are compiling a list of employees where OFM was unable to reach a determination. We will provide the list to agencies who have impacted employees as soon as possible.
If we contact your agency with employees to fix, you must validate and if necessary, correct the Gender Designation for Health Insurance field for employees listed.
If your agency receives interfaces from OFM or you are a WWA user, the jobs that ran last night will include corrected data.
Thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience
