OFM has implemented the following changes and improvements to the Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
Session Time Out - MyPortal session had been updated to time-out after 10 minutes of inactivity. Previously, MyPortal time-out was following 19 minutes of inactivity.

Action Reason F1 Help - The HRMS Data Stewards and State Human Resources have revised the data definitions for three Action Reasons: Non-Perm to Permanent, Probationary, and Promotion. The updated definitions can be found in the HRMS Data Definitions Resource Guide and by using HRMS F1 Help.
Date Type - The “Prior PID” Date Type selection has been renamed to “PID” in HRMS and the data definition has been revised. The updated definition can be found in the HRMS Data Definitions Resource Guide and by using HRMS F1 Help.
This revision was initiated by State HR Labor Relations and vetted with the HRMS Data Stewards due to the need to track periodic increment dates for represented employees when they are hired and not eligible for a periodic increment at that time (such as hired at step L).
Pay Adjust Reason - Seven Pay Adjust Reason selections have been renamed and the data definitions have been revised. The updated definitions can be found in the HRMS Data Definitions Resource Guide and by using HRMS F1 Help.

The HRMS Data Stewards and State Human Resources requested these changes; the goal was to consolidate the codes by eliminating separate reasons for WMS employees. Selections beginning with “ZDNU” are now obsolete and should not be used.

HRMS Release Information
This was a planned release of changes and improvements to HRMS based off of the HRMS Release Management process and schedule. As we are continuously working on improvements to better assist and support our professional users, HRMS Releases take place two times a month.
