Department of Retirement Systems Pension Contribution Rate Update - School Employees’ and Teacher’s Retirement Systems
The contribution rates presented in the chart below are effective September 1, 2025.
The 2025 legislative session made contribution rate changes based on the passage of the following bill:
Contribution rate changes for SERS and TRS are based on ESSB 5357.
HRMS has been updated to reflect these changes. Employees impacted by these changes who require a new Savings Plan (0169) infotype record will be updated by OFM. Processors creating a record for employees hired on or after 9/1/2025 do not require a new record. No agency action is needed.
