OFM Service News – HRMS Support Stack Changes (UPDATE)

OFM has identified the SAP Patch which resolves the issue when exporting some reports within HRMS. Users who select the Excel button directly may have received an error message stating “Contact your system administrator. The following template is missing…”

Agency IT support should take the following steps to resolve this issue for HRMS Professional users:

  1. Navigate to HRMS Technical Requirements Site and download the SAPGUI760_Patch.zip file.
  2. Save the SAPGUI760_Patch8.zip file to your local workstation.
  3. Extract the SAPGUI760_Patch8.zip file.
  4. Execute SAPGUI760_Patch8.exe file as administrator.
  5. Reboot the workstation after the installation is complete.

HRMS Professional Users in the following agencies should install this Patch from the Software Center:

  • Office of the Governor
  • Office of Financial Management
  • Consolidated Technology Services (WaTech)

After applying SAP support stacks to the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), we identified an issue when exporting some reports within HRMS. Users who select the Excel button directly may receive an error message stating “Contact your system administrator. The following template is missing…” and the report will not load or export. OFM is currently working to resolve this issue and we will notify you when it is fixed.

If you receive this error when exporting reports to Excel using the Excel button directly, please use one of the two options below to successfully extract your data.

To Export Using Button Selections

  • Run the report you wish to Export
  • Select the Print Preview button:

  • Select the Spreadsheet button:

  • If applicable, follow any appropriate pop-up windows as necessary

To Export Using List Function

  • Run the report you wish to Export
  • From the Menu Bar, select List > Export > Spreadsheet:

OFM applied SAP support stacks to the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) over the weekend.

SAP support stack updates increased the performance of HRMS and resulted in some system changes which are listed below.
