2025 Form 941 - Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return Update
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released the 2025 Form 941, Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return (Rev. March 2025), on the IRS website under Forms & Instructions. The IRS expects this revision to be applicable for all four quarters of 2025 and must be used beginning first quarter 2025 tax reporting.
OFM is in the process of updating HRMS with the 2025 revisions made by the IRS. 941’s should be mailed on the last working day of the month, after the quarter ends (QTR 1 January through March, due April 30). If the HRMS generated form is not updated prior to the filing date, your agency will need to manually enter the HRMS information on the revised form.
OFM will provide an update once the HRMS generated form has been updated.
