OFM has seen an increase in personally identifiable information (PII) in e-mails and attachments sent to our Help Desk. PII is information identifiable to a specific person such as their name and full social security number (SSN), last four numbers of the SSN, date of birth (DOB), or banking account information. For a full list of PII, see RCW 42.56.590 (10).
Please remove or redact PII in the email or attachment (e.g., screenshot, form) before sending it to the OFM Help Desk. If additional information is needed, OFM will contact you to obtain the information over the phone. Thank you!
