A new procedure Online Selection - View Online W-2 Selection has been added to the HRMS Support Hub to support processor’s ability to view an employee’s online W-2 selection within MyPortal. The new procedure can be accessed within the HRMS Support Hub in the Procedures > Tax Reporter section.
The Display Online W-2 Forms report has been modified to default the Personnel Area as part of the selection criteria. This field is required for Business Areas with more than one Personnel Area. The updated procedure can be accessed within the HRMS Support Hub in the Reports > Tax Reporter section.

Printing W-2 forms for withdrawn employees that have opted in to receive online-only W-2’s
For employees that have opted in for online-only Form W-2, a hard copy W-2 cannot be generated via PU19. The Form W-2 can be viewed, downloaded and printed via a new report transaction PC00_M10_ONW2 - Display Online W-2 Forms. This transaction has been added to the tax reporter role.
A new report procedure with instructions on running this report is available on the HRMS Support Hub: Display Online W-2 Forms.
Use this report to view and print an employee’s generated online Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement. Running this report may be necessary to provide W-2s to withdrawn employees or for employees who opted for Online-Only Forms for their W-2s in MyPortal.
Understanding the Employee Selection
If you are uncertain of an employee’s selections within MyPortal, processors can verify employee W-2 preferences within PA30:
Enter 3228 In the Direct Selection Infotype box
Click Enter to populate
Select the Display button to see the most current record or Overview to see all records for the employee
If you receive a message stating No Data Stored for Online Selection, the employee has not made a selection online and the employee is still using the default paper selection option.
