Procedure Updated:
05/21/2026

Use this procedure to make a correction to or end an employee’s Miscellaneous Plans (0377) infotype record. Available Miscellaneous Plans are Liberty Mutual Auto/Home Insur (LIBM), Life Insurance (LIFE), and LTD (LTD).

Tips:

Available Miscellaneous Plans Liberty Mutual Auto/Home Insurance (LIBM), Life Insurance (LIFE), and LTD (LTD).

Employees should be directed to contact the third-party plan administrators for any changes to their Liberty Mutual Auto/Home Insurance (LIBM), Life Insurance (LIFE), or LTD (LTD) enrollment because these records are maintained within HRMS through GAP files from the plan administrators. The possible exception to this is during an emergent Payroll Day 3 situation.

    TIPS:
    • In most cases, the Start date should not be changed. Changing the Start date will delete the record being updated. Making a retroactive change will cause HRMS to retro within payroll, however it will not retro-collect deductions. If updating the Start date, it is recommended to use the first day of the current or a future pay period.

    • An active record should have an end date of 12/31/9999. If updating the record to stop a deduction, Miscellaneous Plans records should end on the last day of the pay period (the 15th or the last day of the month).

    • Benefits processors should only end date Miscellaneous Plans (0377) records for Liberty Mutual Auto/Home Insurance (LIBM), Life Insurance (LIFE), or LTD (LTD) if the employee requests the agency to end the deduction; generally, after the employee has contacted the third-party plan administrator.

  10. Step 10

Click the Enter button to validate the information.

  11. Step 11
