Use these procedures to enter a new emergency contact for an employee or update an existing emergency contact on the Family Member/Dependents (0021) infotype.


Employees can update this information within MyPortal by using the Emergency Contact link. For more information on updating this link through MyPortal, view Emergency Contact in the MyPortal Help documentation.

Using Copy on this infotype will create a new record and will not delimit the record you have copied. Copying a record is not recommended for the Family Member/Dependents - Emergency Contact record.
