Use these procedures to enter a new emergency contact for an employee or update an existing emergency contact on the Family Member/Dependents (0021) infotype.


Employees can update this information within MyPortal by using the My Emergency Contacts tile. For more information on updating through MyPortal, view My Emergency Contacts in the MyPortal Help procedures.

Using Copy on this infotype will create a new record and will not delimit the record you have copied. Copying a record is not recommended for the Family Member/Dependents - Emergency Contact record.
