OFM has identified an issue impacting HRMS professional users from accessing SAP GUI on a computer running Microsoft Windows 11, Version 24H2. The issue causes:
Sudden or sporadic loss of the SAP GUI logon pad; or
Attempts to launch HRMS from the SAP GUI login pad are unsuccessful.
To determine if you could be impacted by this issue, you can check the operating system and version you are running on your computer:
Press the ⊞ Win+R keys together. This opens the Run dialogue box on Windows.
Type “winver” and hit Enter or click OK. This opens "About Windows" in a separate window.
Windows 11, Version 24H2
If you are running Windows 11, Version 24H2: Please contact your help desk to have them apply a workaround to uninstall patch KB505523. This will resolve the issues for HRMS Professional Users until SAP has released a patch to resolve this issue at their level.
Windows 11, Version 23H2 or lower
If you are not running Windows 11, Version 24H2: Please contact your help desk that OFM recommends pausing on upgrading to Windows 11, Version 24H2 until SAP has released a patch to resolve this issue.
OFM will update this communication as soon as a patch is released from SAP to allow agencies to move forward with a successful upgrade to Windows 11, Version 24H2.
